For tis animation i will be carrying out a time lapse animation of an object decaying over a certain period of time. firstly i was going to do it of an apple but as you can see on this video for the apple to fully decay it would take longer than the time period i had available to me to be able to produce a full analysis of the decay.











Idea 1

another idea that i'm  thinking about carrying out for my time lapse would be the ice cream melting. like this video i was thinking about showing the melting process of the item but in reverse order showing from its melted stage through to the  ice cream being back to its original state. unlike the apple the ice cream would fully complete the required process in a suitable timeframe making it a strong candidate to be chosen for this time lapse animation that i am producing.

Idea 2
 the next idea that I have is to do a time lapse animation of a chocolate bunny i think that the time lapse of this in reverse fashion would really give off an interesting result showing the bunny rise up from a pool of chocolate to a triumphant bunny standing tall. This idea fits into the time frame well as it would only take a couple of hours to complete the full course with the chocolate bunny being really sustainable to the warm camera lights that would melt it quite easily. Unlike the apple the bunny would be attainable and gives it a strong chance of being chosen for my time lapse.

For my time lapse i want to do it at home on my Ipad but with me not previously having experience with using the software i have watched the tutorial shown above that has taught me how to use this time lapse feature on the Ipad. With me doing my work at home it means that i will need to require my props for the video in order to be able to film.

Idea 3
My third  would be the time lapsing of the ice melting for this idea i feel that it would be really simple to do a time lapse of because the ice would melt really easily without the need for heat to be applied to it. For the ice i feel that it would look pretty good with the ice rising from a puddle of water up into a big ice cube. it would be pretty simple for me to carry this operation out with minimal expenses. this could also expand on towards an ice lolly if necessary with the ice having many different avenues available to my dispense.

Music for my Time lapse

The music that i am using for my time lapse will be the instrumental of Cadets Slut freestyle this will be the backing track behind my animation. I feel that this instrumental will give the video a good flow and will give the tranquil effect in behind that id like to achieve.



There was a certain degree of planning that i had to go through to ensure that my time lapse was successful first i had to go through all the planning process which is  listed above then when i actually came up with the idea  i had to gather all of my equipment such as the prop that i was time lapsing my ipad and a glass to hold it upright. once everything was in place it was time to set the wheels in motion i set the Ipad to time-lapse and let the ice lolly being its course of melting. After it had finished i began editing it by speeding the clips up and reversing the order of it making it go from a pool of liquid to a triumphant lolly.

The show is a zombie based drama series based on a council estate and in surrounding areas following a family fleeing from a new piece of chemical warfare exposed to the public by the government to control population overcrowding. The show will inherit the typical English sense of humour around a family from a council estate but will also possess  a large amount of seriousness behind it as the family are constantly trying to fight back against the zombies and find survivors. The TV show will be a e4 exclusive and will begin with airing 6 episodes of the first season the grippingly  interesting drama with a hint of English humour will catch the imagination of viewers with a real insight into each character's life and secrets they all lead. The series will follow the family as they struggle to make ends meet in a high pressure situation where everyday could be there last with the prominent threat of zombies constant. Each character possesses  secrets that are of high significance to the current situation around them and it's no coincidence that the group are all still alive and many millions perished many secrets and lies circulate the gang.

Market research

Zombieville  is easily comparable to the very popular  zombie drama the walking dead. Both of the two shows cover the zombie genre and both are very similar in the way that they follow a family on their own personal journey together trying to survive. The Walking dead was a smash hit and still has ongoing seasons carrying on with the huge fan favourite climbing to its 7 seasons with an ongoing story line and a still high demand. The walking dead premiered on AMC and Fox and spread to over 120 countries on its debut episode and was hugely successful with it receiving an average viewers for season 1 of 5.24 million. The walking dead was aired every Sunday at 9pm and with it receiving such massive views like 5.24 million views on average for the first season it really puts into perspective the amount of consumers within this genre.  The target audience for zombieville is a very vast area with this appealing to people of all ages and genders. The market is so vast it could easily stretch from 15 years of age all the way up 50 to 60 with the humour being tasteful and the show being a riveting watch with plenty of interesting  storylines  and lies overlapping from character to character. Once the show has premiered i would like it to be possible for the show to be available on catch up on All 4 for UK viewers and Netflix for viewers around the world. Being on all 4 and Netflix would hugely boost the presence of the show with it receiving a lot of exposure with it being under shows  similar to walking dead segment of Netflix and also on the recent day list on all 4. The time of the shows airing really can be integral to the success of of the TV show  with it needing to be at the time that will reach out to the target market. For example for my target market of 15 to 30 years old males it would be very beneficial if the show aired at around 9 or potentially 10 o'clock then it would mean that all of the target market would be able to watch it as this is a peak prime time for this age range to watch a TV series. The walking dead premiered at 9pm on Sunday and then moved time slot to 10pm further seasons down the line due to my target market coinciding with the walking dead I would replicate this schedule .

Production

Initially  the budget for my TV series will be a very low one due to there not being  a massive need for many actors and not much of a need for really  expensive special effects. Most scene would require pretty cheap items with props  such as weapons to fight back against the zombies not resulting  in a massive fee to need to be paid. With the production being fairly low budget the action shots of the scene would be filmed around local council estates in the Middlesbrough area meaning that it wouldn't substantially damage the budget. The amount of actors required for the first 6 episodes would be 8 to 16 actors with the 4 main characters encountering minimal amounts of “walkers “ during the first season. The first 6 episodes will focus on before the chemical  exposure unleashed on them and will give an insight into their lives before the ordeal that has a large impact on them in the present which will continue on through the episodes to uncover the present. Other than the 4 main characters  at the top of the document the rest of the actors are playing a very minimal role within the series with zaks  parents having a cameo appearance  and the rest being walkers and found survivors. The show will follow the family on their journey for survival and will largely revolve around  the family protecting each other from potential threats on a day to day basis.

Target audience

The target market for zombieville  would be within the age range of 15 to 30 the reason for this is because  the storyline would really have a connection with this audience range. The reason zombieville  would have a large connection with the audience range between 15 to 30 range of men is because it has sharp snappy  storyline that has been proven to relate to this market. The violence with the weapons really relates to this specific market where it is proven that men aged in this category find this field to be interesting .  Another show that has a similar consumer interest to the show that I'm making is the walking dead this has a massive fan Base within the 15 to 30 range of males.
